Two Qassam rockets land south of Ashkelon, no injuries
Two Qassam rockets fired from the Gaza Strip landed south of Ashkelon Sunday morning, Israel Radio reported. No injuries or damage were reported.

Also Sunday the Israel Defense Forces reopened the Erez crossing between Gaza and Israel. The crossing, used by thousands of Palestinian workers to reach their jobs in Israel, was closed after armed Palestinians attacked it on Thursday.

On Friday, a Qassam rocket landed in an open area in Moshav Nativ Ha'asara. No injuries were reported in this incident either.

Early Saturday morning, the Israel Air Force fired three missiles at a car near the central Gazan town of Dir al-Balah in what Palestinian sources say was a failed assassination attempt. Shortly afterward, the IAF fired a missile that landed in an open area in the northern Gaza Strip.
