Court halts construction of J'lem museum atop Muslim cemetery
<snip>

"The High Court of Justice ordered a halt Wednesday to construction work at the site designated to house the Museum of Tolerance in Jerusalem after workers discovered graves of Muslim corpses nearby.

The court's injunction "forbids continuing work at the site and the execution of any activity liable to change the status quo on the ground."

The court issued the injunction at the request of the Nazareth-based human rights organization "Karameh," which represents East Jerusalem families whose fathers are buried at the site, and the company "Al-Aqsa," which is affiliated with the northern branch of the Islamic Movement."

1. The Museum will be built eventually...
the archaeologists will exhume all the bones and relocate them.

2. I think the plan is to relocate living Palestinians too.
It's called ethnic cleansing.

3. I imagine this must be very upsetting news...
..to those in this thread who were so opposed to anyone daring to complain about the construction. I think now what must happen is a very vigorous and outraged letter-writing campaign must be undertaken where the Israeli High Court are called self-haters, anti-Semites, and apologists, reminded that they have forgotten the Holocaust by mentioning Hitler every second sentence, and that there are merely Muslim bones and some exhaustive research by non-Muslims with a vested interest in continuing construction has shown that they, not Muslim scholars and Muslim precedent know the truth when it comes to whether or not the burial sites should be disturbed now ;)
