Goldsmith (UK attorney general) hears Gaza death plea

The attorney general has heard calls for the extradition and prosecution of an Israeli soldier for the shooting dead of a Devon cameraman.

James Miller was killed in the Gaza Strip in May 2003 and last month a UK inquest ruled he had been murdered.

His family and legal team met Lord Goldsmith on Friday.

Afterwards, Mr Miller's widow, Sophy, said she hoped Lord Goldsmith would proceed with "real action" when he had studied the case.
