Switzerland condemns Israeli military actions in Lebanon
Switzerland on Thursday condemned Israel's "disproportional" military actions in Lebanon, expressing concerns that those actions could ignite a regional conflict.

"Even if the aggression by Hizbollah on the Israeli border can be condemned, Israel's reply should remain strictly proportional and not threaten a non-hostile neighboring state," the Swiss Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

The ministry said it welcomed the Lebanese government's actions to try to find a solution to the crisis.

It also called on all parties involved to end the "destructive escalation" which threatened to turn into a regional conflict with potentially devastating effects on the local population.

2. The cheese stands alone eating wild boar.
Flip through all the channels this evening and they are reporting the Israeli bombing matter-of-factly like robots.

Warplanes have bombed a stadium and two more bridges.

There is no outrage by any of the reporters, commentators, talking heads, military experts - none, nowhere.

What has become of the world I once knew?

3. nothing has happened
Had this exact situation happened in 1996 the same thing would have happened.. Same for 86, 76, 66.
I don't think the world has changed much honestly.

4. The Israelis are wiping out the infrastructures in Palestine and
Lebanon. It will take years for them to rebuild.
