Those who grew up Supporting Israel after WWII reading Diary of Ann Frank
Edited on Fri Jul-14-06 06:16 PM by KoKo01
and fresh Holocaust Diaries, and supporting the Kibutz Movement with all our heart and souls and hoping for those who had escaped the most horrible and dreadful of annihilation and abuse would finally find a place....ISRAEL!

But, as Bush and the Think Tanks who run him have said: "This is the 21st Century and we 'must move forward' and deal with the terrorists" have pointed out..."EVERYTHING IS NEW" and so NOW we are faced with the "TRILLIONS" we Americans have done to support "Israel" and we get nothing but a "Neo-Con" Country sucking the resources of us Average Americans into a hole in the sands where corruption reigns with Lobbyists in our Congress and anyone who is an Armageddonist can find funding or create a Corrupt Lobbying Organization and the funds from the Likud and Zionists TRUMP EVERYTHING.

Please tell me how this is fair to all of us in the "New 21'st Century?" Why is Israel the only concern of our AMERICAN GOVERNMENT that we would give up EVERYTHING just for the support of this?

 Inquiring Minds of WWII Babies do need to know: "AT WHAT COST?...at what cost?"

Rachel Corrie...the name that should not be spoken. Rachel Corrie and all those who wonder...WHAT HAVE WE DONE? WHAT HAVE WE DONE?

AND...HOW CAN WE FIX IT?

7. Corrie should have had (in a real world) so much memorializing...but
anyone who brought up her name was "put down to shut up" and told to "get a life."

I was at an Iraq Invasion Protest prior to our Invasion here in North Carolina and there was one lone NC'linian there passing out "Rachel Corrie" flyers...urging us to REMEMBER HER NAME!

Where have you seen ANY MSM or ANY MEDIA supporting her? An Israeli Tank mowed her down.

We never saw Ted Koppel doing "Count Down for Days Rachel Corrie's Death" took place. Remember the Iranian Hostages? Well...Rachel Corrie was run down by an Israeli Tank because she supported Palistinians and our "Gubbmit" under "Texas Fake Bushie/Chimp/Idiot" let a young woman be run over by an Israeli TANK and killed and yet there was NO ONE who would DEFEND RACHEL CORRIE...and her name is not to be mentioned amongst Dem or Repug Groups.

Rachel Corrie was not a HOSTAGE...SHE WAS KILLED...and defending PEOPLES RIGHTS TO PROTEST!!!

In another time she would have been honored .........not ignored.

10. Rachel Corrie didn't have ANY LOBBYIST registered in her NAME
so...she didn't EXIST! For Lobbyists, BushBots or ANYONE!

She was alone...and her memory was "wiped out."

3. Saying those things is practically against the law.
Criticism is off limits in the USA.

5. The Bushies say they "create the Realtiy Based Dialog." But, there are
lots of us who have a "long American History" who might have some "other views" of what the Chimp thinks with his "Neo-Cons" is the "reality based" community.

When do "WE" have our VOICE as VOTERS...as AMERICANS ...as CITIZENS...as WORLD COMMUNITY MEMBERS.

Josh Bolton does NOT Speak for me as a RECESS BUSH APPOINTEE!!!

And, I have a RIGHT TO MY VOICE ALONG WITH EVERYONE ELSE! Don't I?

9. To fix it, start by cutting off the money. Just cut it the hell OFF.
Not like that would ever happen. AIPAC would propagandize it as a second holocaust. But it would be a start. Of course Israel would cut us off from every single resource they have, and then some, because they know we desperately need their intelligence in our War(s) on Terror. No, those dollars will and must flow to Israel. It is as if one asks to stop the world turning when one tries to exert any control over the military actions of Israel.

The quickest way is to let them destroy themselves- just keep giving them the money they demand and let the natural progression of their conservative governments become more and more obscenely rightist until they are a fortress crushed under the weight of their own military hardware and extremist, racist policies. But I refuse to do that- there are so many in Israel who are trying to fight the fever which is slowly killing the body politic with ultra-hardline conservatism. There are two teams of wild horses, running out of control, pulling two nations (Israel and the U.S.). Both need to be decoupled but it is very hard given the force with which the coupling pins have been driven into place.

In the case of the U.S. I thought it would take a civil war. Thankfully, and how horrible it is that I should thank such a monstrous thing, the war in Iraq and elsewhere is turning public opinion against the administration more and more every day. However, in Israel where the tough, prickly skins of the sabras are more used to hardship and loss, it could take alot worse- and maybe a civil war, before any noticeable change comes.

13. See for yourself what the IDF has done in the area Rachel tried to help.
Pure imperialism and ethnic cleansing. Eight minutes, 30 seconds in length but you only need to watch the first 60 seconds to get a disturbing idea of what is being done there:

Rachel Corrie from documentary "The Killing Zone"
