1. They are lieing about why they haven't rescued the Americans yet.

Does Bush really plan to get the students out At All?
Will the deaths of these Americans be what Bush wants to get into this conflict with Syria and Hezbollah.

So far the reasons given for the delay are BS. The Marine Corps standard for this stuff is 4 yes FOUR hours!

2. Well, they definitely won't be able to land an airplane there
The airport and tarmacs are in ruins, so they're gonna have to put together a alternate scenario to get everyone out as quickly as possible.

Hope this is done sooner rather than later. Next Wednesday is much too long to implement and evacuate.

3. They wouldn't depend on fix wing for this anyway. They have lots
of military guys still around who know every street of Beirut. They know the area well enough to have gotten these people out days ago.

4. We definitely need the services of these guys at this critical time
Can they contact The Pentagon and offer their services, or do they need to "hurry up and wait" for DoD/Department of the Navy to call them?

5. I'm not so sure
How do you get out several thousand people? It has to be done by ships. And if military ships are already loaded with normal crews and aren't near , bah, blah, blah.....
