Two soldiers killed in clash with Hezbollah inside Lebanese territory
Two Israel Defense Forces soldiers were killed Wednesday during heavy exchanges of fire with Hezbollah guerillas inside Lebanese territory, across the Israel-Lebanon border.

One of them was identified as First Sergeant Yonathan Hadassi of Kibbutz Merhaviya, while the name of the other soldier was not announced.

Nine other soldiers were wounded in the gunbattle, two moderately and the others lightly.

Hezbollah gunmen opened fire at the troops around 12 P.M. Wednesday, killing the two soldiers and wounding their comrades. Two Hezbollah militants were killed in the exchange of fire.
