Who is the head of the Hamas military wing in Hebron? Last week, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that soldiers from the undercover unit Duvdevan had liquidated Ahmed Bader, describing him as "the head of the Hamas military wing in Hebron." Seven weeks earlier, on June 22, we were informed that a force of the Border Police and the Shin Bet security service had eliminated "the head of the military wing of Hamas in Hebron." On that occasion the part was played by Abdullah Qawasmeh. Three months before that, on March 18, it was reported that the IDF had terminated Ali Alan, who was also "the head of the military wing of Hamas in Hebron." Seven months prior to that, on August 28, 2002, it was announced that the IDF had arrested "the head of the military wing of Hamas in Hebron," Abdel Halek Natshe. Less than a year before that, in November 2001, the IDF reported that a helicopter-launched missile killed Jail Jadallah - "the head of the military wing of Hamas in Hebron." http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/340032.html

1. I thought that 12 year old they killed last week was the head of Hamas |
|
Must be one of those really egalitarian orgs, like Al Qaeda, which as we have all noticed the last few years, is composed entirely of "9-11 masterminds."

The whole thing about Arafat is a form of denial. It all stinks of denial and paranoia and disfunction. Like if Arafat is killed, it will somehow be fine. I have the feeling that if it is admitted that Arafat is just a stooge, then they must also admit the failure of the current policy, that is why all the fuss over Arafat. They have to admit all those people on both sides died for nothing. Getting rid of him is the big hope. This shows up in the delusion that if only Arafat had let him, Abbas could have cleaned up the terror networks, even though he had nothing to do that with. Or maybe Sharon just doesn't want to leave his old enemy behind him when he falls.
It's like Pooty-Poot and his phoney election in Chechnya, things will be settling down real-soon now ...

not acting like scum in the first place before some "terrorist" decides to smack you in the face for it, but since it's a wee bit late for that you should at least have the good grace to quit acting like a villian while you fight the guy.

4. The head is dead -- long live the head? |
|
Are they sequentially killing those who take over as head? Or do they have no inkling of who the head really is? Or do they know but playing for sound bites whenever they kill someone fairly high up? Does it matter?

8. They really should issue press releases expressing regret |

at the loss of innocent life, and explain that their intelligence indicated that a top level IDF official was in the area, planning an attack on Gaza, and emphasizing that they make every effort to avoid civilian casualties.
Why don't you zoom them an email and suggest that?

13. Better if you did it Ductape, |
|
If you can sound sincere, that is. Hamas suicide bombers are groomed for the job, and given glory before death in the claims they make about going to heaven and living with dozens of virgins. They glory in the dead and show the bomber pictured in his glory next to the dead Israelis. It's like a trophy. You, with your commitment to human rights and the GC, might at least expain that the rest of the world doesn't see it that way.

|
And just think, if Hamas had Apache choppers, they wouldn't have to send humanbombers to the bus stop - they could fire missiles into the crowded street like a civilized country.

the IDF was disappearing Palestinians way before there ever was a suicide bomber so I really don't think it has anything to do with Israel's policies.

It seems you have a point. Can you back that up with factual documents from universally accepted sources?
