Iranians volunteer to fight Israel

Surrounded by yellow Hezbollah flags, more than 60 Iranian volunteers set off Wednesday to join what they called a holy war against Israeli forces in Lebanon.

"We are just the first wave of Islamic warriors from Iran," said Amir Jalilinejad, chairman of the Student Justice Movement, a nongovernment group that helped recruit the fighters. "More will come from here and other Muslim nations around the world. Hezbollah needs our help."

"God made this decision for me," said Honavi, a grandfather and one of the oldest volunteers. "I still have fight left in me for a holy war."

Revolutionary Guards sent by Iran get killed in ground combat or in shelling, Iran can't very well claim that's what they were, now can they?

No, no--they're hotheaded students that took it upon themselves to run off an instead of engaging in 'internal spiritual struggle', misunderstood 'jihad' to mean actual physical struggle.

Can't blame Iran. Can't be certain that the dead Iranians weren't volunteers.

If they get killed, then Israeli killed naive students. If they kill Jews, then they return home heroes.

People within the culture have to shame the jihadis; those without have no say in this. Their fellows must so clear and so explicit that these fools are shaming Islam by their actions that they cannot even be considered Muslims.
