Israel Envoy To US: Hezbollah Must Be 'Defanged'
NEW YORK -(Dow Jones)- The Israeli ambassador to the U.S. said Sunday on ABC's "This Week" that the Hezbollah militant group must be "defanged" and denied any military capabilities to allow for a new political and social structure to emerge that will strengthen the Lebanese.

---

He said that the apparent outrage in the Muslim and Arab worlds over the attacks in Lebanon are unlikely to increase their hatred against Israel.

"How much more hatred could there be? I mean, if Hezbollah or Iran talks about the destruction of Israel or the destruction of the U.S. for that purpose, or others, how much more hatred could there be? So if we sit back and relax, it's just going to go against us because they are going to ride the population anyway," Ayalon said.

"I think it is time for the Arabs to understand that there is a price for their intransigence and for violence and aggression," he said.

2. Ask Hisbollah why they hide their assets among civilians
By the way, ask also hisbollah why they fire on civilian targets, and while we are at it, the moment the israelis place valid military targets (they have, patriot Batteries) among civilians, then those civilians are valid targets too.

It ain't as simple as you think it is.

5. And you sound exactly like one of those Israeli apologists who no
longer have any credibility. How do people like you justify the mass killings of Lebanese children to yourselves? How do you justify Israeli policies of stealing land and all the water in the area with the notion (or that lie rather) that Israel only 'wants to live in peace with its neighbors'? How do you feel knowing that the every government on the planet (except for the two criminal governments responisble for the continual war crimes in Iraq) are turning against Israel for its habit of defending war crimes by crying 'its not my fault, I'm the proverbial and eternal innocent bystander'?

Don't tell me how simple it AIN'T. I understand very well. Very well.

6. The old switcheroo, not surprising.
You Israeli apologists have no sense of decency left. Hezbollah is wrong for firing on civilian targets--no one disputes that.

But, Israel is guilty of war crimes on a massive scale. They intentionally target civilians on a regular basis. Israel knows many civilians will die as a result of their actions, they just don't give a damn.

It is pretty simple unless, like you, you are trying to defend indefensible immorality.

3. Hey, he admitted there should be a price
for "intransigence and for violence and aggression". You gotta wonder when he plans to pony up.
