So if Hezbollah has 10,000 rockets |
|
Edited on Sun Aug-06-06 02:22 PM by MassDemm
and they are firing approximately 180/day and Israel says it wants to disarm Hezbollah, it should only take:
55.5 days to complete its mission
The fighting has been going on for 23 days so far. So we only have about 32.5 days until the end of this senseless violence on both sides. And that isn't considering any rockets that Isreal says it has destroyed.
Could it be this simple?

1. Only if they succeed in cutting the supply lines |
|
Otherwise Iran and Syria will just keep sending in more rockets.

3. I always wonder why the number of rockets they have is so |
|
important. Yes, they have rockets that they fire on Israel.
But Israel also has rockets (and then some) that they fire on Lebanon. Does anyone quote reports on the inventory of the firepower Israel has?
I just don't see the point.

4. Israel was just resupplied by the US |
|
and Israel's supply lines and airports are not destroyed. I would predict, given current attitudes, that even if Hezbollah runs out of rockets, Israel will continue because they will claim they can't be sure.
