Fox News Producer Resigns Over Middle East Coverage

Two weeks ago, two producers working for Fox News in Amman Jordan resigned in protest of the network's coverage. In their resignation letter, Serene Sabbagh and Jomana Karadsheh wrote "We can no longer work with a news organization that claims to be fair and balanced when you are so far from that." They went on to write "Not only are you an instrument of the Bush White House, and Israeli propaganda, you are war mongers with no sense of decency, nor professionalism."

We go to Amman to speak with producer Serene Sabbagh.

will spin this as these two women somehow being terrorist sympathizers. Ms Goodman did not ask if the fact that the reporter and cameraman working for Faux had anything to with either their abduction or more likely that they had not been as yet released.

were biased, just like FN but in the other direction. I don't know anything about FN coverage though, stopped watching them years ago.

9. Sounds to me like they were offended

by the lies of Faux, and proved that they have consciences. I see no evidence of bias. Just because they are Arabs, doesn't mean they can't do their jobs right.

I read a similar story from Fisk. A colleague was leaving the middle east, and when Fisk commented that he must be sad to leave because he had lived there so long and loved the place, the reporter said he couldn't take being told how to report the news by his US based employer and was happy to be out of it.
