3. No different than what I read the other day.

Basically, it said Syria was preparing for an Israeli attack. The two countries have been a perpetual state of war since the birth of Israel. Sadly, I don't see it ending anytime soon.

I am sure there is a plan somewhere for our invasion of just about any country of the world including the UK and Canada. It's the job of any nation's military to do threat assessment and planing. I am sure that Syria has plans and preparations to invade Israel as does Israel to deal with a multiple list of it's neighbors. Plans and preparations are part of the game. It's a shame it is that way, but it always has been. We fought WWII based upon plans drawn up decades beforehand and modified several times. War Plan Orange and Rainbow 5.

The IDF and Syria still effectively remain in a state of war. It would be rather foolish to think the IDF and the Syrian Army do not plan for the possibility of things turning hot again.
