This is a graphic of the layout of the "fence". Looks more like the Korean DMZ to me... http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/world/daily/graphics/separating_092303.htm

Israel keeps the Palestinians from being able to work and from creating a viable economy, there will be trouble. Heard on NPR that BOTH economies are suffering, the Israeli one because fear of terrorism has kept tourists away and because lack of cheap Palestinian labor has made some businesses slow down or close. The "fence" doesn't help with reestablishing economic security, which I see as a key to stopping terrorism.

my neighbour is a nice guy, but his dogs are psycho, we talked and tried to work stuff out, did it work, nope, so we built a fence, now both sides are seperated, we can still talk above the fence, but the psychos are blocked from entering my yard.

The Palestinians will have their state. They can build their own economy. Israel dosen't need to be held responsible for that. the Millionaire in office ought to have gotten the economy going long before. A fence will no longer keep them from their jobs, just keep them out.
