Hizbullah Time Warp
<snip>

In fact, Hizbullah was formed in 1982 not merely to resist IDF presence in Lebanon, but to destroy Israel and extend radical Islamic control over the entire region, as stated in Hizbullah's official manifesto, and as repeated publicly by every Hizbullah leader for the past twenty years.

Moreover, Hizbullah has continued to attack northern Israeli civilians even after the IDF's 2000 withdrawal from southern Lebanon. This, after UN secretary general Kofi Annan determined the IDF withdrawal to be "in full compliance with Security Council resolution 425." Just last month, an Israeli teenager in northern Israel was killed by Hizbullah shelling. So why does AFP reach back to the earlier timeframe of IDF presence in Lebanon? This maneuver ignores the more germane and telling facts regarding Hizbullah's ongoing terror against Israeli citizens.

1. heads up
http://www.honestreporting.com/a/About_us.asp

HonestReporting was founded to scrutinize the media for examples of anti-Israel bias

HonestReporting's PowerPoint seminar, "Bias in the Media," has been presented to a variety of groups throughout North America and Israel, including the Hasbara Fellowships co-sponsored by the Israeli Foreign Ministry. The seminar has also been adopted as a key component of the Jewish National Fund's "Caravan for Democracy" program to train tens of thousands of college students in pro-Israel activism.

The media affects public opinion, which affects American foreign policy, which in turn directly impacts on Israel's "ability" to defend itself against terror.

6. So why did they ever stop?
They kicked Israel's ass all over Lebanon, if that's what they want why didn't they start moving in.
