Israeli warplanes violate Lebanese airspace

BEIRUT, June 3 (KUNA) -- Israeli warplanes violated Lebanese airspace Sunday and flew over many areas in the Bekaa, north and south of the country, the army said.

Four Israeli jets violated the airspace and circled over the Bekaa area, as well as other places before leaving the airspace, said the army in a statement.

An Israeli reconnaissance aircraft also violated the Lebanese airspace and flew over Bint Jbeil area in southern Lebanon. (end) an.bs KUNA 032231 Jun 07NNNN
