Qassam strikes Sderot house; no injuries
Two rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip towards southern Israel on Thursday afternoon. A house in the town of Sderot sustained a direct hit and several people suffered from shock.

Elisheva Turjeman, the owner of the house hit, found it difficult to talk after the shuddering experience.

"We were at home with the children, there was a very loud explosion, and the entire house was hit," she told Ynet. "We managed to get to the secured room and take shelter. It was a real miracle. I still can't believe we escaped it unharmed."

"We heard a very loud explosion, and I immediately understood that the house was directly hit," one of the residents on the street told Ynet. "Our houses all shook and the windowpanes were damaged.

"The rocket entered the house's living room through the roof. Several of the family members were at home at that time, and only a miracle prevented their injury. They are extremely frightened. There is an elderly sick lady there. It's simply a miracle that no one was injured."

1. Pretty easy to understand
Stop bombing Gazans, building on Palestinian land, collectively punishing Palestinians, and generally showing reckless disregard for civilians, and there would be NO RESPONSE.

2. That can easily be reversed
the terrorists should stop firing rockets at Israelis, collectively punishing Israelis and showing a general disregard for all civilians and there would be no Israeli response

3. The Palestinians have been trying to push Israel into the sea for 60 years
and haven't succeeded, but that doesn't seem to stop them from their continued "resistance".

They ought to try to make peace. Stop shooting rockets, even for a day, and they would see there would be no response.

So easy. I don't know why they don't try it.

4. Updated: Homeowner injrued in another direct hit on a house
From the same link.

Two Qassam rockets hit Sderot Thursday evening one of which caused damage to a structure in the battered town. One man was moderately wounded from shrapnel to his face and limbs. A few others suffered shock in the incident. Magen David Adom teams administered first-aid to the injured.
