Hebron photo pictorial
The 40 year anniversary of the IDF occupation of Hebron could have passed by quietly if it wasn't for a photo exhibition to be put on display in Tel Aviv

"On Tuesday of next week, the Minshar photo gallery is set to inaugurate a photo exhibition under the headline "40 years of settlement in Hebron."

The display, which was compiled by photographers Micki Kratzman and Eldad Refaeli, will be presented by Israeli and Palestinian photographers including Hussam Abu-Ala, Shlomo Abramov, Pavel Wolberg, Nir Kafri, Lior Mizrachi, Uriel Sinai, Anat Sargosti and others and aims to portray the reality of day-to-day life in Hebron.

The exhibition organizers explained the importance of marking the anniversary by saying that they were offering a "visual manifestation of the harsh reality in Hebron, as a mirror and sample of the Israeli occupation in the (Palestinian) Territories."

At the exhibition, the planners will be handing out reports and documents from various human rights organizations as well as soldier eyewitness reports and CDs with videos from the divided West Bank city."

3. Thanks
it will be interesting to see how this is received, I suspect that the Israeli public will be more open than some of their American counter parts would be.

4. The impression I have
is that the Israeli public generally is much more aware, and more left-leaning than are Americans.

That's just an impression I get for some reason.
