Al-Qaeda vows to target Jews 'in and outside of Israel'
"The United Nations is an enemy of Islam and Muslims," he said. "We promise our Muslim brothers that we will do our utmost to strike Jews in Israel and abroad with help and guidance from god."

Al-Zawahri defended the organization, saying it does not kill innocents, in hour and a half long audio response to questions submitted to the movement on extremist Web sites.

The audio message, which was accompanied by a 46 page English transcript, was the first installment to the more than 900 questions submitted by supporters, critics and journalists in December.

1. Anti-Zionism = Anti-Semitism
Statements like this only reinforce the notion.

4. Not always, but quite often
Certainly Al Quaeda = Anti-Semitism, as well as equalling lots of other pretty nasty things.

Ugh.

3. Sigh. So many foolish militants in the world
and they wonder why their people are so miserable.

5. I don't know that Al Quaeda wonder why people (you mean their supporters?) are so miserable...
they probably thrive on people's misery, as the more miserable people are, the more likely they are to seek extreme solutions; and then to become even more miserable - or quite possibly dead.

6. Al Qaida, like Hamas,
alienates people towards Muslims in general.

Hamas has totally alienated the world towards Palestinians.

If the goal of these terrorist goals was to wreak havoc on the west and Israel, they have failed. If the goal was to make the lives of Muslims/Arabs/Palestinians, more miserable, they have succeeded.
