Reuters cameraman and two other civilians killed in Gaza

A Reuters cameraman and two other Palestinian civilians were killed on Wednesday in what local residents said was an Israeli air strike in the Gaza Strip.

Fadel Shana, 23, was covering violence in the enclave for the London-based international news agency.

The vehicle he was traveling in had just stopped and Shana was getting out when an explosion killed him and two bystanders, local residents said. Colleagues saw his body at a hospital.

The dead included Fadel Shana, 23, a Reuters cameraman who was felled outside his car by a blast which locals described as an Israeli air strike.

7. Israelis aren't going in and suicide bombing Palestinians

I regret the loss of life of innocent Palestinians.

Unfortunately, their militants hide in regular homes, and use civilian shields. It makes it hard to target only militants, but Israel does a pretty good job.

The Palestinian militants, on the other hand, attempt to kill as many Israeli innocents as they can.

They would kill many, many more, if they were able. The only reason they aren;t, is because good intelligence protects Israelis.

8. Why suicide bomb when you can safely fire a missile at a crowd of Gazans

or at vehicles marked TV all over them?
