What does Palestinian youth think?

Here are some of the findings of the survey:

54% of youth said that they, in general, feel insecure. This number is even higher in Gaza reaching 62%. Over half of the insecure said it was due to the occupation.

Using what they call the ‘Depression Indicator’, a series of five questions, they found that 81% of Palestinian youth are depressed.

When asked about values in society that are not respected 27% said respecting others and 26% said honesty in dealing.

When asked how they identify themselves 47% said Muslim followed by 28% saying Palestinian.

When asked what country model of government they want for Palestine 33% said an Islamic Caliphate and 1% said something like Israel.

74% said they support women in Politics and 79% said they support women in the labor force.

82% said they have no membership in youth organizations. Mushasha said this number concerns him because there is, ‘so much money being poured into youth centers but very few youth are participating.’ He said this figure will be key in making changes in youth organizations.

I will first give the warning, then the info.

as a collective noun? It's perfectly acceptable English.

82% are depressed - not surprising, but very worrying.

51% spend all their free time at home - I wonder if that really means that their parents won't let them go out because of all the violence?
