Iran to Jewish community: Go anywhere but Israel

Iran opens another front in its war against Israel: The Iranian government has begun demanding that Jews leaving the country make a promise not to immigrate to Israel.

Several weeks ago, some 40 Jews arrived in Austria from Tehran in a bid to immigrate to the United States after receiving the required permits and visas. The American authorities are delaying the documents, while the Iranian Jews are stranded in Vienna.

They have a lot of competition, from all the Arab nations with their Protocols of Zion and charters and terrorism against Jews, but Iran really is a top contender.

Israel, who provides humanitarian assistance around the globe, shares her technological and medical advances with the total global community, including her enemies, is the bully?

Tiny Israel, size of New Jersey, surrounded on all sides by hostile nations, many of whom want to see her destroyed and her people killed.

And watching Hamiyeh and Ahmanidiot speak, and the masses respond with their hatred, was just a little too much like some other leaders of the past, not so distant either, rallying and inciting hatred.

4. I liked the bits where they kept writing "Palestinians" in quotation marks

Good bit of dog whistling, that. Sly little signal to the ultranationalists that says: "don't worry, we actually hate those sand niggers, but lets not upset the lovey dovey apple cart, eh?".

As for the lead article, I suspect that there was more to the Iranian Jews' decision to opt for North America over Israel than a promise to the Iranian government. Especially when you consider that there's not a whole lot Iran can do to enforce that promise.
