Ahmadinejad: Israelis should go back to "countries of origin"
Tehran - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Thursday that Iran had nothing against Israeli Jews but called on them to return to their 'countries of origin.'

'Although we distinguish between the people (Jews living in Israel) and the Zionist (Israeli) regime, but we neither acknowledge an Israeli government nor a nation,' Ahmadinejad said in a press conference in Tehran.

'We have no problems with these people (Israelis) but they should leave the occupied territories, leave them to their genuine owners and get back to their countries and homes where they originally came from,' he added.

12. Your premise is flawed
It supposes that there has been no human migration or interbreeding between groups, unfortunately that is not how humans tend to work. An example would be Haida and Tlingit tribes of the northwest who's mitochondrial DNA shows that their origins are the Ainu people of Japan so are they still native American or are they Japanese?

3. Most of them were born in Israel!
If he means 'countries of ancestral origin' - even if this were reasonable in other ways, I doubt that all the leaders of the relevant countries will welcome or even permit a huge influx of returning Jews from Israel. Especially in the case of the Jews who originate from Arab countries.

Really Ahmadinejad needs to concentrate on his own country a bit more and on Israel and his desire for ethnic cleansing there a bit less!!! But perhaps one of the purposes of the obsession with the 'Zionist entity' *is* to deflect criticisms from his own government

4. Great Point!
I doubt that all the leaders of the relevant countries will welcome or even permit a huge influx of returning Jews from Israel. Especially in the case of the Jews who originate from Arab countries.

I wish someone would press him to answer that point. Throw in the homes and possessions taken from those Jews by those countries.

6. 850,000 Jews
kicked out of Arab countries, who had all their land and possessions stolen from them by the arabs.

I wonder if any of those Arab countries would welcome Jews back.

Considering their near constant anti-semitic rhetoric, I;d say the answer is no, so Mr. Ahmanidiot should shut his piehole.

14. Yes.
And realistically neither's descendants are likely to get full right of return. So independent homelands are the next solution. The Jewish refugees have that, in Israel; the Palestinians also need their own independent state.

16. Better tell Hamas and Fatah
they seem intent on getting themselves two Palestinian states, since their lack of unity is a major stumbling block to the whole peace process.
