Rights commission finds more evidence of extrajudicial killings by Gaza security forces
Bethlehem – Ma’an – An investigation by Palestine’s Independent Commission for Human Rights (ICHR) has uncovered more evidence of extrajudicial killings in the Gaza Strip, according to findings released on Sunday.

ICHR highlighted the deaths of Nihad Sa'di Mohammed al-Dabaki, a 47-year-old resident of the Al Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza, and Jamil Shafeeq Shaqqurah, a 51-year-old from the city of Khan Yunis. Both died at detention centers operated by the Internal Security agency of the Gaza de facto government.

Shaqqurah’s death has previously reported. His family has testified that he died after being subject to torture by the Internal Security forces.

According to ICHR's investigation, Al-Dabaki died on 9 February, and that field workers observed “clear marks of torture” on Al-Dabaki's body. On 7 February, a number of masked men had detained al-Dabaki. The following, his family learned that these individuals were members of the Internal Security agency.
