Qassam hits Israel, despite Hamas moratorium on Gaza rocket fire
Gaza militants on Sunday fired two Qassam rockets at Israel, causing no casualties or damage, Army Radio reported, despite a moratorium announced by Hamas on cross-border rocket fire.

One rocket exploded in the southern Negev, while the second hit Palestinian Authority territory.

The Israel Defense Forces last Sunday identified a rocket fired by militants in the Gaza Strip as a Russian-made S5K, the type used in battle in Iran and Afghanistan.

The IDF said it was the first time this type of weapon has been fired from the territory.

1. MIlitans must feel that the PA is now the enemy.
Or, they are math challanged and can not perform the geometry necessary to target the rocket.

2. Or possibly a couple guys just got drunk and lit off some rockets for fun.
Those things are not exactly designed for pinpoint accuracy, particularly if you don't have access to full windage data.

4. I never overestimate people's fidelity to the rules of religion.
That said, in this case "getting drunk" is a colorful figure of speech encompassing any and all forms of individual stupidity, including intoxication of whatever form.

6. Fair enough
Personally, I think this was done soberly and intentionally but who knows for sure.

5. all kinds of "consumer goods" get smuggled
and in Gaza booze would be contraband of the highest order, but in this case drunkenness could also be "youthful" or other rage pure and simple
