Mahmoud Ahmadinejad attacks US for Afghan 'double game'
Our pal Ahmadinejad was welcomed as a trusted friend today in Afghanistan by our friend Karzai. What a wonderful photo op that was! The thief of Kabul next to the thug of Tehran.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad attacks US for Afghan 'double game'

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has accused the US of playing a "double game" in Afghanistan after the US used the same term to condemn Iran's role.

Mr Ahmadinejad said the US had "created terrorists and now say they are fighting them", as he appeared with Afghan President Hamid Karzai in Kabul.

<snip>

The BBC's Quentin Sommerville in Kabul says that President Karzai said little at the joint conference, but thanked President Ahmadinejad for his support and described Iran as a realistic friend.

Mr Karzai said: "We are very hopeful that our brother nation of Iran will work with us in bringing peace and security to Afghanistan so that both our countries will be secure."

3. Because it involves I/P's favourite whipping boy, Ahmadinejad, and...
because in our zeal to oppose those on the "pro-Israel" side that want something done about Iran, we are fooling ourselves if we think that Iran's nuclear program is benign in nature.

Did I mention Iran's role in the support of terrorism in the region? It's not Zionist propaganda!

2. My thinking is that the US media and this current administration aligned with the hawks in Israel
are enormously underestimating Ahmadinejadand; the political atmosphere and the will of the Iranian people is that Iran needs Nuclear technology, and every Iranian you talk to will agree unequivocally. I don't suppose our State Department understand what at stake here for the Iranian people.

Don't like the source, I get that, but eh... I guess like my dear, dear friend Violet, I'm just struggling to get a read on where you're at (besides all over the map).

Not that Ahmadinejad's photo-op partner is too much better than his American masters; that despicable warlord Hekmatyar is apparently being welcomed back into the pro-gov't fold against the likes of Amir al-Mohminin Omar and the Haqqani bunch. While he is a character I would surely not prefer to square off against, nor would he be one I'd remotely wish to count in the buddies column. But hey, takes all kinds and the good news just keeps pouring in, hope springs somethingorother, victory is right around the corner, God bless whatever.
