No progress in EU-Israel row over settlers' produce

The European Union complained Tuesday at the lack of any progress in a long-running dispute with Israel over trade in goods made by settlers living on occupied Palestinian land.
The EU has for six years been pressing the Jewish state to stop labelling produce made by the settlers as "made in Israel", and has warned importers of orange juice and other goods that they face punitive levies.
In a statement issued at annual "association council" talks with Israeli Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom, the EU said it "regrets that no progress has been made towards a solution of the bilateral question of rules of origin".
"The EU continues to attach great importance to the correct application of the provisions of the association agreement, in particular concerning the territorial scope of the agreement," it said
