Gaza militants launch projectile at Israeli bus; 2 wounded

Two people were wounded Thursday after a projectile exploded into a bus travelling in one of the communities surrounding the Gaza Strip.

Officials in the defense ministry believe the bus was hit by a mortar bomb, however other reports said the strike may have been an anti-tank missile.

Magen David Adom crew who arrived at the scene said that a 13-year-old boy was critically wounded as a result of the attack, and that the bus driver was moderately hurt by shrapnel wounds in his leg.

Following the attack, the Israel Defense Forces launched an attack on targets in the Gaza Strip, killing one and wounding five people.
