ARMED clashes broke out in the southern Gaza Strip today after Israeli tanks entered a refugee camp and demolished at least two houses, Palestinian security sources and witnesses said.

At least five tanks and two bulldozers staged an incursion some 150m inside the southern section of the giant Rafah refugee camp, which has been the site of major clashes in recent weeks.

1. Why did they need to demolish the houses?

Was it a tit-for-tat thing?

2. What gives the Israeli military any right

to enter a Gaza refugee camp and start wrecking the place?

Nothing gives them the right. They are just as terrorist as Hamas.

3. Self defense

All nation states have the right of self defense. If you use those homes as ways to attack Israel (or links to tunnels to smuggle in arms), then Israel has every right to do something about them.
