Israeli soldier may face manslaughter charge
http://www.itv.com/news/45291.html

<snip>

"An Israeli soldier could be charged with manslaughter following the death of British peace activist Tom Hurndall, according to Israeli military sources.

On Monday, a soldier from the Israel Defence Force was indicted on six charges over the incident.

But Israel military sources said the prosecutor may alter part of the indictment to manslaughter following the Briton's death.

Mr Hurndall was shot in the head as he was helping young children to safety in the town of Rafah on April 11 2003."

4. Because if he were deliberately targeted
it wouldn't BE manslaughter. It would be murder.

2. This of course is welcome news
Now are there going to be manslaughter charges for all the murders of Palestinians? Or do you have to be British in order to call attention to the indiscriminate killings which the IDF does on a regular basis?

5. the day a peace agreement is signed
The war will end. As of now, Arafat has done nothing to stop the murder of Israeli citizens. Israel must continue it's self-defensive actions.

When will there be a murder charge against Sheik Yassin and Abdel-Aziz Rantisi, for example? They are well known, and Arafat meets with them regularly.

6. No
obviously the war will end when Israel says it will end. They've had the power for kind of a long time now, but they keep on stealing land, bulldozing homes, and terrorizing civilians ... so who really knows when they'll stop it.
