Bishops blast Israeli barrier
http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/common/story_page/0,5744,8404975%5E1702,00.html

<snip>

"FIFTEEN bishops from Europe and the Americas today condemned the separation barrier Israel is building in the West Bank and claimed the Catholic church's mission in the Holy Land is being hampered.

"We have seen the devastating effect of the wall currently being built through the land and homes of Palestinian communities," the bishops said in a statement issued after four days of talks in the southern West Bank city of Bethlehem and in Jerusalem.

"This appears to be a permanent structure, dividing families, isolating them from their farmland and their livelihoods, and cutting off religious institutions," the statement added.

The bishops issued their statement at a press conference in Jerusalem that coincided with the departure for the Vatican of Israel's two chief rabbis, who are due to meet Pope John Paul II tomorrow."

1. they will all kill each other over religious boundaries
and will annhililate each other in order to preserve their religious beliefs.

The Christians in Bethlehem believe in the Jesus or Yeshua, as he was called, as the "Messiah". The Jews do not believe in that Yeshua, god, yet the christians claim that they are a branch of the Jews and share a god--err, well I never understood that because the Jews do not believe that Jesus, or Yeshua, was the Messiah at all and so they do NOT believe in the same god-=-and the Christians believe that indeed Jesus is a god and a part of the trinity of the god.

There is no god but Allah according to the Islamic religion, which also claims to be a branch of the Jewish religion(they all three share the patriarch, the founder called Abraham, according to the latest) and they all, recently have embarked on this lovey dovey thing where, because they all have the religion of "Abraham" they are and should be loving each other and all join in together to go on forever in no conflict but in eternal love.

ERRR but it is not at all logical--they do NOT share the same gods. Period. They do NOT love each other, period. It all boils down to the practical application of the territory and power and religion is only the support system.

They are all willing to kill for their "religion" LOL
