3000 pro-disengagement protesters rally outside PM's home
Some 3,000 demonstrators attended a rally opposite the prime minister's Jerusalem residence on Saturday night in support of the disengagement plan. The protest was organized under the slogan "Get out of Gaza, start talking."

Former IDF Chief of Staff and Center Party member Amnon Lipkin-Shahak called on Prime Minister Ariel Sharon to listen to the majority. "Bringing Israel home does not require might, it requires leadership," Lipkin-Shahak said.

Other speakers were author Sami Michael, Yeruham mayor Baruch Almekayef, singers Aviv Geffen and Yael Levy, Yahad party chairman Yossi Beilin and several Knesset members, including Yuli Tamir (Labor) and Ran Cohen (Yahad).
