Israeli war planes fly over Lebanon

Tyre, Lebanon, Jul. 17 (UPI) -- Israeli war planes violated Lebanese air space Saturday as they flew over southern Lebanon, officials said.

They added that Israel had also beefed up its military presence along the Israeli border with Lebanon and that Israeli destroyers entered Lebanese regional waters near the shores of Naqoura.

Last June, Israeli war planes raided bases of the guerrilla Hezbollah organization in southern Lebanon, while Hezbollah attacked several Israeli posts in the Shebaa farms occupied by Israel.
