IDF nabs twelfth female would-be bomber
IDF troops manning the Hawara roadblock south of Nablus on Tuesday night arrested a 20-year-old Palestinian woman who planned to perpetrate a suicide bombing in Israel. She is the 12th female would-be suicide bomber arrested by security forces since Rosh Hashana.

Last week, paratroopers arrested the woman's 16-year-old sister, who also planned to perpetrate a suicide bombing in Israel, at their home in Assira Qabaliyah south of Jenin. Both sisters belong to Fatah and were apparently recruited by a local senior commander of the Fatah-linked Aksa Martyrs Brigades.

Elsewhere in the West Bank on Tuesday, security forces arrested 22 Palestinian fugitives in raids in Kabatiya south of Jenin, Nablus, Zawata west of Nablus, Beit Furik southeast of Nablus, A-Ram south of Ramallah, and El-Khader east of Bethlehem.

1. Dang those people

If they only took all the compensation- land, money, rights, citizenship- Israel was offering them, and only understood how Israel treats them as first class citizens, then the whole conflict would just disappear!

Oh, wait...

2. Arrested in her home?
These arrests are quite suspicious to me, mainly because the IDF say they were PLANNING to carry out suicide bombings, not that they WERE carrying out suicide bombings.

In other words the IDF is supposedly acting on intelligence that says someone is going to do something and arresting people with little or no evidence that actually WERE going to do it.

For instance where are the explosives?

Based on the IDF and its history of lying through its teeth, I would be more inclined to believe that these are simply women who have been falsely accused by other Palestinians who are currently being tortured by the IDF and Shin Bet.

3. The timing's interesting...
Seems to me that these 'would-be' bombers conveniently get arrested after the IDF has made a big oopsy, usually in the form of shooting unarmed civilian Palestinians...

Given their track record on spotting weapons, I sure hope this woman doesn't have a library bag (aka explosives) or camp stretcher (aka Qassam) anywhere in her home. If the IDF drags up either of those items, then there'll be a flurry of overexcited threads started from right-wing sources braying that evidence has been found! ;)

Violet...

4. "For instance where are the explosives?"
If the IDF adopts the same standards for Arabs as it does for Jews (I know, I know, you have to suspend incredulity), it wouldn't matter even if there were massive amounts of explosives in her house, along with grenades and coils of machine gun ammo.

She could just say she stole all that stuff from the IDF because her "hobby" is collecting explosives and guns.

A Jewish settler in Kiryat Arba (Hebron) gave that excuse a couple of months ago. It was accepted apparently (even by the press, which had to really try hard to keep a straight face).

7. Maybe
If the US supplied the Palestinians with $3 billion per year in military equipment there wouldn't be suicide attacks.
