Vancouver Muslim leader calls Jews 'monkeys and swine'

The leader of a Vancouver mosque attended regularly by a local man reported killed in Chechnya has preached the virtues of jihad and called Jews "the brothers of monkeys and swine."
In a lecture posted on the mosque's website, Sheik Younus Kathrada tells an audience all real Muslims want to be martyred.

In a recording of another lecture obtained by The Canadian Press, Kathrada lashes out at Israelis for killing Hamas founder Sheik Ahmed Yassin late last March.

Religious intolerance peddled by whackjob exremists only requires denouncement if it's aimed at Jews, and if the denouncement implies that this isn't actually extremism, but mainstream thought in Islam. Anything else can be ignored, which seems to be what certain folk here do. There's a whole rich field of religious intolerance and hatred by radical clerics in Saudi Arabia aimed at Shi'tes, along with calls for their annihilation that makes anything donny posts look downright moderate, but I guess the virulent hatred of Shi'ites isn't that interesting cause after all they're Muslims...
