Bomber: Mom condemns militants

Nablus - The mother of the 16-year-old Palestinian suicide bomber who blew himself up in a Tel Aviv market on Monday called the militants who sent him to his death "immoral" for sending a teenager on a suicide mission.

He was one of the youngest Palestinian suicide bombers of the 116 who have struck since the outbreak of Israeli-Palestinian violence in September 2000.

Samir Abdullah, 45, Alfar's mother, said the people who had sent her son to Tel Aviv were wrong to exploit someone too young to understand the implications of his act.

"It's immoral to send someone so young," she said. "They should have sent an adult who understands the meaning of his deeds."

This child had to drop out of school in order to support a family in which his father was maimed by Israeli soldiers and could no longer work.

If Palestinians were free to attend schools, had access to jobs, homes, lived in peace and had hope for the future they would no longer support terrorism.
