Last year I got away with doing this, so I'm going to do it again this year. Let's hear it for precedent! :D

Happy Holidays and a wonderful New Year no matter what your perspective on the I/P conflict. The people who post here have given me the gift of being able to better comprehend an extremely complex issue. Thank you one and all.

The I/P forum is my favorite room on DU because we all have so much to teach each other. I've learned more, here, about the context, history and cultures of the Middle East than any other media outlet. This forum should be required reading for every High School and college student studying current events.

A big thank-you, and congratulations, to the mods of this forum for creating a safe space for the I/P conflict to be discussed. Y'all have the patience of Methuselah.

May 2005 be the year that this horrible conflict ends in the land of Abraham. We are all one.
