5 Jewish girls under house arrest for attacking Palestinians

On their way back from circling the Temple Mount marking the conclusion of the tenth of Tevet fast day, 15 youths allegedly encountered a Palestinian couple and their eight-year-old daughter at IDF Square. They hurled stones at the family and knocked the father to the ground, causing light injuries, and stole the mother's purse.


One of the girls was jailed last month for putting up illegal posters belonging to an ultra right-wing faction. The girls refused to cooperate with the police, maintaining that they were arrested for political reasons

seems we have a bit of a lopsided bit of comparisons.....lets see if we can place this episode in its environment:

gang of israeli right wing girls attack without weapons an arab family, they are arrested by the israeli police tried......and no doubt this is a result of their education....how many times has this occured? (actually more time than appears in the press)-and here it receives front page news, talk shows denounce it and wonder why did they do this.....

in comparison on this discussion board.....
we have the usual outcry here that the palestenians dont teach hate, yet when they attack a jewish family they use AK-47s and kill them and its then celebrated by the society.

slight difference.....

it would be reasonable to say that both societies teach extremism to their youth, and it would be foolish to deny it. But their are differences, on the israeli side, those youths were arrested, with public discussions of how to prevent it....

thats what responsable societies do to those that have hate crimes, such as those you see in denmark, sweden, england the US etc.

the usual attempt to take israels faults as a society and attempt to blow them up in to some kind of "see they really are evil" as usual fails when placed into context of a working democracy.
