Palestinians kills Palestinian girl
A Palestinian rocket blasted the home of a refugee family in the northern Gaza Strip Saturday, killing a 10-year-old Palestinian girl.

Ibtihal Abu Daher was killed and her 11-year old brother, Ihab, wounded in the explosion, Ha'aretz reported.

Militants often fire homemade Qassam rockets and mortar shells from the Jablya camp into southern Israel, the newspaper said.

Meanwhile, Israel sent troops to the camp after three other Qassam rockets landed in the western Negev town of Sderot. No injuries or damages resulted from those three rockets.

*sigh* I would hope something like this would make them stop firing those rockets, but I doubt they will.

2. This sad incident will just bump up the
overall intifada casualty rate, and there'll be another posting in a month about how many kids the Israelis killed.

Nope; she'll be declared a glorious martyr, or somehow the claim will be either that it was an Israeli rocket/tank shell, or that the Israelis used a Patriot-type missile to shoot down the Qassam specifically in order to kill the girl.

Oops. I try to keep my cynicism to a minimum. I'll blame it on the margaritas I had.

Happy new year, if you keep it.

3. bloody fools
Attacks on civilians,be they Israeli or Palestinian, simply add fuel to the already major fire. Both sides need to stop playing the victim and take a look at the victims.

4. But only
the Palestinians deliberately target civilians.

Only the Palestinians deliberately send men, women & children into public places with bombs strapped on their bodies in order to kill as many 'targets' (read: Jews) as possible.

That's not playing the victim card: that's telling it like it is.

Face it.

5. Yes, like the time when a Palestinian fired a shell...
into a crowd of Israelis marching non-violently!
