Palestinian shot dead on way to hospital

GAZA (Reuters) - Israeli troops have shot dead a Palestinian man who was driving his pregnant neighbour to hospital during an army night-time raid in the Gaza Strip, witnesses and medics says.
The Israeli army initially denied shooting the man, saying soldiers, on an operation to detain wanted militants, had fired warning shots as the car sped towards them and it crashed.

But a military source later said the troops had fired directly at the vehicle, fearing it was a car bomb.

It's absolutely disgusting when people get killed because of an unnecessary occupation. I don't understand why Israelis kill innocent civilians. It doesn't make any sense.
