Hamas will not compromise on one inch of Greater Palestine, Hamas leader Mahmoud al-Zahar told an Italian newspaper earlier this week.

Speaking to the Corriere Della Sera newspaper, al-Zahar said Hamas would "definitely not" be prepared for coexistence with Israel should the IDF retreat to its 1967 borders.

"It can be a temporary solution, for a maximum of 5 to 10 years. But in the end Palestine must return to become Muslim, and in the long term Israel will disappear from the face of the earth."

When some of us raise our voices about the danger of this group we are shouted down. We are told they have a "legitimate' role in negotiations. They are terrorists. They also hurt the Palestinian people, almost as much as the hurt the Jews.

Horrific 10 years in the future: They occupy Israel. Will we see the same level of outrage? I doubt it. There are many who share the opinion of Hamas, and not all of them are terrorists, or even neo-Nazis.

Unfortunately, the Jews who support the right-wing government here need a wake up call. This government (US) does not really care for Israel, or Jews, in my opinion. Even the Fundies don't care...all they care about is Jews having control of Jerusalem, as for the rest of Israel, they have no "use" for it.
