Peace in the mideast in a long long time but what I am now hearing is that the moves are a part of Bush*'s Roadmap for Peace. If this is in fact the case then I have to finally after all these years give Bush* some credit for a good thing. How many believe Bush* is responsible for the Israelis doing this?

1. Maybe the Israelis are finally seeing the handwriting on the wall.
They've been trying brute force for 50+ years and are finally realizing that it doesn't work. Also, that they're protector is firmly stuck to the tarbaby in Iraq and is heading for disaster.

Maybe they realize that it's time to make the best deal they can hope for, and offer the Palestinians some justice.

2. Disengagement has been part of every 'peace process'
There's not a damned thing novel or laudatory about the paltry efforts of the Smirk Cabal.

3. I was wondering the same thing
I stated several years ago that if B*%$ could pull off peace in Israel/Palestine, he would earn my respect. I still want peace over there, I just can't believe that he is the one pulling it off. I remember when sharon completely ignored B*&$ and continued on with his other bad actions. What has now changed? Why has Sharon suddenly found compassion? Or is there some other plot going on? Somehow I just don't trust sharon or B to do the right thing.

4. If Bush Played a Role
then I am certain, the pullout will fail for all parties. This is a man who has not done one thing right for anybody. Let's hope for the sake of the mideast that Bush played no part in this.
