These photos were taken at Ground Zero, the World Trade Center site in New York, on September 13, 2001.

They were taken by someone named "Ed" who was allowed into the area by a member of the emergency response crew, at a time when all civilians -- including most journalists -- were forbidden to enter the area. As a result, these photos are just about the only close-ups ever taken of the World Trade Center site so soon after the 9/11 attacks.

I have seen these before but I still find them fasinating to look at. Two passenger jets and fires that burnt for less then two hours could not do this much damage.

2. Yes, very helpful photos. However, your statement

"Two passenger jets and fires that burnt for less then two hours could not do this much damage", is a bit odd. Who is saying that? Certainly not me, and certainly not any of the critical thinkers who argue that controlled demolition is a bullshit theory.

One also wonders who the hell would say that the buildings "fell straight down", eh?

3. That is the OCTer theory

I don't buy the controlled demo theory mainly because the visual evidence shows that the buildings were blow up not down. I've never seen a controlled demo that looks like a volcano went off.

Her legs looks the same in every picture.

Plus she's dark, shadows would make her darker. In these pics her feet are almost white.

I've done lighting and I work in graphic arts. I spend a fair bit of my time in Photoshop. This is something that is ON her legs.

is that planes flew into the buildings and that the fire from the jet fuel brought the buildings down. Is that not correct?

I did not mean to imply that the OCTer theory supports a controlled demolition. That is one of the CT theories. I can see how my response could be interpreted to combine the two theories, I am sorry if I was not clear about the difference.

Interesting that you are so interested in my posts? If you didn't notice I started the thread has a question and has a joke, because the pictures were so odd. The rest of the thread is representative of the thought processes that went into analyzing the picture. At some point, someone found a link to the video of the event, where it was apparent that a big fat spotlight was the source to the odd effect the shadows created. I had no problem admitting that the effect was just a shadow when the source that created the shadow was identified. Crappy use of a follow spot if you ask me, but heck they didn't even bother to polish the piano, so I guess we shouldn't expect them to know how to do good lighting either, that is unless they wanted to make her look bad, which is a possibility.

.... why didn't the buildings that are completely draped in WTC debris didn't sustain "major damage", catch fire then proceed to pancake to the ground like wtc7.

Can someone identify the buildings so we know what we are looking at here?
