Wow...Alex Jones on Tom Martino Show...
I don't know how popular radio-talk-show-host Tom Martino is. He's a
consumer advocate, and people call him for help when they've been screwed
by a landlord, contractor, etc.

I've NEVER heard him discuss politics.

I turned him on tonight and he was discussing, in detail--Sept 11th--and
how our government has repeatedly lied to us about what happened on that day.

He took callers and all of them were very careful and measured about what
they said--but ALL agreed that 9/11 was more complex than the public understands
and that the government has lied.

Martino sounded shocked and interested in the conversation. He kept saying, "I
just can't believe this. I can't believe this could happen in America." He
sounded like a man coming out of denial, and slowly digesting really difficult
information. He mentioned that he never understood why it takes 2 minutes for a
private plane to be blown up, if it enters military space. However, on 9/11,
our government failed to intercept the plane headed toward the Pentagon.

Martino also stressed that the government lied to us when they claimed to be in the
dark about "people flying airplanes into buildings." Martino said that we had run
several drills of the EXACT 9/11 scenario--and that the infamous PDB was available
on archives.com for everyone to see--that a 9/11-type scenario wasn't something
they'd never heard of or anticipated.

Alex Jones was wonderful. He talked about the surgical detonation of the towers and
all of the experts who said that those buildings didn't come down/melt due to jets
hitting them.

I was really astounded at this entire conversation. Martino is not political.

Is America waking up?

1. I've often wondered if the Pentagon was attacked by a rogue
element within our own military. Call me crazy, but nothing is too strange for me to consider after the past 5 years.

3. He certainly was.
Measured discussion of the facts usually tends to beat mindles name calling.

I am including this here for a reason. Here is Ken Mehlman saying that not He, you understand,
but a source called "information" says that Bob Novak's source was not Karl Rove. Now we now
know that the information was wrong but who said it. Who gave out this information in the first
place. And then he says a lot of what Joe Wilson said was wrong. But now we know that what
Joe Wilson said was RIGHT. Is this what they did on 9-11?

And, in fact if you look at that information, the information says that Bob Novak's source was somebody else, not Karl Rove, and it says in the case of Matt Cooper, that Karl Rove discouraged Matt Cooper from writing a story, which in fact turned out to be the right thing to do because a lot of what Joe Wilson said was wrong.

Novak gave his first extended interview about his role in the CIA leak probe, telling Fox News that Rove was a confirming source for Novak's column that outed Plame's CIA identity.

5. truly, it's the emperor's new clothes....
the old fairy tale seem so quaint, so earnest, and so over the top, but it still best describes the public and 911. what drives one nuts is that the thing seems so easy to see, yet, like with the emperor's new clothes, seeing aint the problem. The cia's budget is reputedly in the $40 billion/year range, and (as was stated clearly during the british xcientist david kelly's 'suicide' debate when a bushevik who was denying the story that kelly stumbled on 'false info' which supposedly necessitated his murder by the mi6 by saying that '90 percent' of what intelligence agencies do anyway is spreading false info!) $40 billion must absolutely warp the psyche of the people, including we here at DU! Same with the 2k election, and the role of the pigmedia in greasing the slipway they used - it's was so obvious only a 1/2 wit even mentions it!
or something....
one thing for sure. no book, no article, no explanation is ever going to explain what happened to our societies. it's all a lie, even if it's true.
a poem
The Memory Hole
Orwell went first
into the memory hole;
then the space program
caught into the memory hole;
then you went,
into the memory hole;
even adam and eve
gone into the memory hole!
and truth finally
went into the memory hole;
just before memory itself,
was dragged into the memory hole
and all that was left was *
silly old fool!
there's no room left
in the memory hole!

6. What station?
I'm in Colorado and there's a Tom Martino here - just wondering if it's the same person.

8. I think Tom Martino is from Colorado...
If I'm not mistaken, Martino's show began in Colorado--gained immense popularity, and then went national.

I listen in Iowa on 1040 WHO.

It's probably the same Tom Martino!

He's great. He's such an advocate for consumers.

7. My original post about Alex Jones has disappeared from this forum.
I'd sent an email to the moderators after discovering my original post had vanished "mysteriously" (first time for me!), and because I didn't get any message telling me my post was removed, I'm wondering if this ever happened to you?

Since I'm not sure if I'd been censored, I won't explain what my post was about other than that it was about Alex Jones.

For the life of me, I can't understand why my post disappeared after it clearly posted (I immediately checked after hitting the "Post message" button). Perhaps a glitch in the system?

13. Thanks sparosnare, but it's not there either. Just checked.
I have sent skinner (I believe) an email asking if I were censored, but I guess that's not true, since I saw two posts by reaper66 posting the Alex Jones prediction under the September 11 rubric.

I just thought it was funny that after clicking "Post Message", and seeing it appear under the General Discussion rubric, it suddenly disappeared and it even disappeared in "My Posts", where it would normally be for me to connect to.

Anyhow, thanks! :hi:

9. Yes America is waking up. Not all agree about what happened but I
believe most know that we aren't being told the truth.

12. In the midst of it all.....
...did someone call in to say they were suing Sears because their Craftsman Hedge Trimmer died a week after they bought it and they wouldn't honor the warranty?

A little Tom Martino humor there.....
