1. Numerous errors in your linked site. Too many to count.
Edited on Thu Sep-07-06 09:15 PM by mp3hound
1) All the proof you need!

Error - it isn't proof of anything.

2) Try to buy, sell, etc. anonymously.

Error - straw man. Let's just hypothesize for a moment and say that it was me who placed those put options. While I am not "anonymous" and the transactions are all duly recorded between me and my broker, that does not entitle you or anyone else to know who I am. There is a vast difference between "anonymous" and "privacy".

3) Then ask yourself this question: How could someone have placed anonymous put options on American Airlines and United Airlines just prior to the attacks of 9/11?

Error - I didn't do it anonymously. See above.

4) Then ask yourself why no one has investigated this suspicious deal.

Error - it was investigated and reported upon. Did you miss that?

5) Ask yourself why there has been no attempt by the US government to identify the person who anticipated huge profits from a disaster that was yet to occur.

Error - it was investigated and reported upon. Did you miss that? You are not entitled to know the identity of private investors (in this hypothetical, me).

6) Is it because the trail possibly leads to the CIA?

Error - see above. It was not anonymous and you are not entitled to know my identity.

Error - I have no connections to the CIA.

7) Then wonder about the collapse of Building 7 on the day of the attacks. Ask yourself why the owner of the building allowed the building to be pulled down (intentionally demolished) hours after the Twin Towers fell.

Error - he didn't "allow" it as he had no say in the matter.

Error - it was not "intentionally demolished"

Error - it was not "pulled down"

8) Pulling down a building takes weeks of planning and preparation so that explosives can be safely positioned and wired.

Error - pulling down a building does not involve explosives but rather it involves attaching cables to the structure and literally pulling it down.

9) Not so in this case.

Error - because it was not pulled down

10) Wonder why.

Error - because it was not pulled down.

Error - because it was not demolished with explosives.

11) If you have any doubts at all about the official 9/11 story, then the answers to these questions are all the proof you need that something is very, very wrong!

Error - nothing on this entire page so far answers the questions asked or proves a single thing. See the errors listed above.

12) Independent 9/11 researchers have worked nonstop since the events to examine the events of 9/11

Error - calling conspiracy theorists "independent 9/11 researchers" is a bit disingenuous.

13) and they have uncovered enough information to seriously challenge the official versions of what happened on that fateful day.

Error - which portions of the official version of events? Certainly none of those so far on the page.

14) But maybe, just maybe, the very fact that massive amounts of information are available is a problem in itself.

Error - it is never a problem to have lots of information. The problem is that most conspiracy theorists have a hard time separating facts from fantasy.

15) There may be far too much evidence for most Americans to face.

Error - more likely, there are too many inconsistent conspiracy theories floating around, which makes people revert to the actual facts and evidence, none of which support the conspiracy theories. Even the conspiracy theorists have been fighting amongst themselves for weeks now, arguing over which ones to promote and which ones to keep on the QT so as to not alienate rational people. How's that no plane theory working out for you these days?

16) The challenges to the official stories may be too devastating to be processed by the average American who has spent a lifetime believing in the system.

Error - No, the conspiracy theories just do not stand up to scrutiny.

17) Many people can deal with the minor violations that are part of the political scene, but cannot possibly fathom a government that might be complicit in an attack on its own people.

Error - Since there is no evidence that the government was complicit in the events of 9/11, this is meaningless.

18) They are not unlike the parents who eventually come to terms with a child’s shoplifting spree.

Error - The two hypotheticals are not synonymous at all.

19) The same parents would do anything to deny far more serious accusations.

Error - There is no basis upon which to draw this conclusion.

20) Imagine the response of parents whose son turns out to be a Timothy McVeigh.

Error - Strawman.

21) Some things are so disturbing that they are almost impossible to believe. That is why, in the 9/11 enigma, less is more.

Error - more projection without substance.

22) There is a real danger of frightening everyone off by offering too much information. Therefore, if we think of the problem as a chess game, two strategic moves can lead to checkmate.

Error - nonsensical.

23) There are two pieces of the 9/11 puzzle that on their own expose the lies of the administration.

Error - you haven't named even one yet.

24) Two questions must be raised so that even the most diehard Bush supporters realize they have been deceived. These are issues that no one can debate or dismiss. These are not conspiracy theories. They are fact-based questions that can lead to exposing the deceptions in the official reports. The apologists have no way to explain these away or justify them. Basically, they offer clear evidence that the official explanations of 9/11 are meaningless.

Error - not a single sentence of this entire page so far has been factual, and I see no need to continue.

and unsubstantiated BS.

My responses, on the other hand, are not. While it is true that I may have expressed my "opinion" along the way in the midst of responding point by point to your somewhat goofy link, any such expression was in direct response to your own site which cited the opinions of its founder, unsubstantiated by any facts whatsoever (gee, could you not even come up with an original word or two, by the way?). Pretty straightforward stuff, no? What makes you think that I (or anyone else) should respond with anything other than opinion to a site full of unsubstantiated and wholly untruthful nonsense? Answer is, I'm living the best of the best, there is no rational reason on earth to disrupt it, let alone faulty numerology by some freeper looser type punk :)

Back on topic re this particular post that the CTer though my response was inappropriate towards:

Even though your site is unsubstantiated and unfounded, at least I read as much of the first page as I could stomach (most people wouldn't - and I don't blame them - since it comes across as just a rant with zero substance) and at least I responded factually to your post. Isn't that what you asked for? Isn't that why you started this thread? Don't blame me if most people- including your fellow CTers - can't be bothered to respond to your crap site.

The truth is that the site you linked to is junky and I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you waiting on any backup from your fellow conspiracty theorists here.

But good luck, just the same.

I'm out.

3. The problem I have with this is I feel he's focusing on the wrong things
I don't mean to sound like a total naysayer here, however...

Regarding the Silverstein statement - he says he meant pull the NYFD. Granted, the NYFD wasn't in the building or around the building at the time, but that's what he says he meant. No one is going ot say otherwise, and it really doesn't "prove" the case.

And regarding the put options they were put by a private investor, more likely an investment group. The government says they investigated and found no wrong doing, therefore we have no further recourse there.

In the months preceding 9/11 there are smoking guns laying all over the place, none of them involve stocks or building demolitions. The CIA, DIA, and FBI were stopped from investigating, the PNAC papers are very telling also, the money leads right back to the same players, and so on. You kind of have to think of it from the perp's POV. Look for the spots where they really don't have "plausible deniability". If you can find those areas you can nail them, IMO of course. :)

Errors are kind of subjective on these points. We really don't know how WTC 7 fell. Even NIST can't tell us what happened. We only know that the government didn't see fit to take anybody to court over the put options, they also didn't see fit to take W to court over his insider trading, and Neil didn't go to jail over the Silverado fiasco. They own the machine you dig?
