$ 3.7 billion is a lot of money
No, no, I'm not talking about the money the Pentagon couldn't account for ....
no these are DIFFERENT $ 3.7 billion:

"The government failed to ensure that recipients of terrorism-recovery loans were actually hurt by the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, allowing banks to spread more than $3.7 billion in aid to whomever they wanted, Senate investigators concluded Wednesday. (...)
"The lack of clear guidelines allowed lenders to justify making a STAR loan to almost any borrower," the committee report said.
Nearly 3 of every 4 loans made under the program contained either insufficient or questionable documentation to show recipients were actually hurt by the Sept. 11 attacks, Snowe's committee found"

2. Stand corrected
Absolutely true!
They had trillions unaccounted for.
Still I say with my modeste income that $37 billion is quite a lot of money.

4. Well, even with my fortune
Which is merely in the low 100-million range in the foundation's investments, I must say, $37 billion is quite a lot of money.

3. If you need to tell a story to get money
you will supposedly tell a story to get that money. So a lot of stories exist about phone calls out of the planes and so on.

Trigger a story - the story will come. Somehow I feel modern journalism works like that. and some religions.
