Larry Silverstein is one of the keys to this whole Conspiracy.
We need to have a investigate Larry Silverstein fund. If I were an FBI agent, 3.5 Billion Dollars in cash is a great motive to kill three thousand people. I am sure it wasn't just Larry himself, but you throw in Marvin Bush as the head of security and you have a Conspiracy.

2. Wirt D Walker III (cousin of Bush family): CEO, 1999 - 2002

from 9/11 Mysteries
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-6708190071483512003&q=9%2F11+mysteries

The NY Port Authority, the long-time owner of the WTC complex, was losing money on the towers. The rent was so high that tenents were leaving, there were a lot of vacencies, while operation and mainainance of the towers was to expensive. The fire-proofing foam covering the steel contained asbestos and it had te be cleaned up, which would cost about a billion dollars.

- Securacom/Stratesec installed new security system at WTC: $8.3 million contract, 1996 - 2000
- Marvin Bush: principal of Securacom/Stratesec, 1993 - 2000
- Wirt D Walker III (cousin of Bush family): CEO of Securacom/Stratesec, 1999 - 2002

Silverstein became owner of the towers six weeks before 9/11. From then on heavy construction work took place in the towers, for which some tenents were moved. During the weeks before 9/11 there were power-downs of sections of the towers. On the days before 9/11 several tenents noticed large quantities of white dust in their offices.
On the last few days before 9/11, explosives-sniffing dogs were ordered off the premisis.

3. I just found this interesting note about the freight elevators
Two giant express elevators ran non-stop from the ground to the 107th floor in each building, but they were not in service. The elevators went to the not-yet-open observation deck in the south tower and the Windows on the World restaurant in the north.

I knew one was out of service, but I didn't know both were. They would make a perfect missile delivery system.

4. Interesting, but why deliver a *missile* by elevator?
I think just some explosives would be sufficient, after all the elevators are inside the building, and so would any explosives in them, so there'd be no need for a missile.

5. Missile is probably the wrong word to use
You are right, bomb is probably the more appropriate term.

11. Walker was also involved with some aviation companies, one
of them in Oklahoma (where Moussaoui's flight school was/is) I have just started to look at it and keep getting distracted. His business seems to have gone bankrupt(so did Moussaoui's flight school)not long after 9-11, which he blamed on 9-11 but other similar companies were doing well (so was it 9-11 related and he put it into bankruptcy when he no longer needed it?) I have just started to look. I don't know how distant a relation to Bush he is, I have a Bushler family tree and he is not on it, I always see "distant relative" and he's not in Kitty Kelly's book.

7. Personally
I've always believed that many things were accomplished in one grand stroke that day. It would be somewhat naive to believe that there was only one reason and one person responsible for the buildings destruction.

14. A year or so back
I read a long forum post all about Silverstein, demolition and WTC 7. I obviously didn't save it and can't remember the forum, the poster or most of the finer points.

In essence the writer believed that 7 was meant to fall at the same time as the towers but there was an almighty stuff-up, delaying the demolition. There was a heap of info about insurance, asbestos......damn. Wish I had it saved.

Have you, or anyone else ever run across this? From memory, it made some good points and raised many questions.

15. well, I remember one
where there was speculation on galvanic corrosion because someone gave a lecture on it at the NYC library, but either he is mistaken or there has been a cover up because there is no other info. Then there were a bunch of asbestos claims, which is a fact, but I can't remember if they were against the Port Authority, or the asbestos company. Fact is , the wtc was going to be forced to get rid of the asbestos and the cost was going to be more than it would be to build a new one giving an incentive for demolition. Then the other day, someone was posting about halliburton and Dresser & Cheney & I was going to see if Dresser was the wtc's asbestos co., but I haven't yet. I don't remember that thread having anything about building 7 on it, though...

21. What doesn't make sense about Larry's statement
is the part about pulling the building because 'We've had such terrible loss of life'. WTC 7 had been evacuated by 9:30 AM. The streets around the building were closed and evacuated by at the latest early afternoon. There was no one in or near the building by the time Larry agreed that they should 'pull' it.

22. Does Larry's statement lead you to conclude that he's not too bright? Or,

do you think maybe Larry was talking smack? If you had been in Larry's shoes and wanted/needed WTC7 to come down, what kind of excuse would YOU have come up with? His sounds about as plausible as you can expect. Who knows where Larry got the idea to say that, anyhow (a friendly agent from U.S. Gov't?). Maybe he speaks gibberish, not English. Like Captain Bunnypants. Besides, give Larry a break. His background isn't in academia; it's more in the visual arts area.

23. I think for Larry
it was all just a business deal. He was just a willing stooge, who played along and didn't know too much about the gory details. The WTC was a major white elephant and it was a win - win all around. Besides they probably promised him they would do everything they could to minimize the lose of life.

Whoever engineered the event, did things that were clearly intended to minimize the casualties. Most significantly the direct the Towers were dropped. Both fell toward the Plaza which was mostly clear of people by the time they fell. It also made clean up so much easier. Amazing how the streets around the perimeter of the site were so clear of big debris after the collapses.

...under the WTC towers when 9/11 happened plus all of the stock trading data trails which were destroyed by the towers coming down.
