Video: New Pentagon Video Released

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- A hotel security camera video released by the U.S. government showed the explosion that followed the crash of American Airlines Flight 77 into the Pentagon on September 11, 2001, but the low-quality recording did not capture an image of the 757 jetliner.

The video, recorded by a security camera at the Doubletree Hotel in Arlington, was released to public interest group Judicial Watch and others who filed a lawsuit seeking the tape and other videos from that day.

CNN filed a Freedom of Information request for the video in February 2002, after the manager of the hotel disclosed its existence to CNN Senior Pentagon Correspondent Jamie McIntyre and said it had been confiscated by the FBI. CNN's FOI request was denied because at the time the tape was considered evidence in the investigation of Zacarias Moussaoui, who has since been convicted.

There was speculation that this video might show the American Airlines 757 jetliner before it crashed, but a close examination by CNN only revealed the subsequent explosion and no image of the jet. The only known record of the plane is on images from the Pentagon security camera, first broadcast by CNN in March of 2002, and officially released in their entirety May of this year. No flyover.

No aerial ballet.

Whatever flew close to the Pentagon crashed into it.

Too bad they cut off the video so soon. The clip that they released isn't even 10 sec long.

8. I'm not talking about the C130

In the upcoming Loose Change: Final Cut, the assertion will be made that:

a) Flight 77 flew to the north of the Citgo,
b) Flight 77 flew over the Pentagon
c) another plane hit the light posts (or they were rigged to blow)
d) another plane crashed into the Pentagon (or a missile or something)

However, this video does show that b) is false. Flight 77 did not do a flyover. It hit the Pentagon.

That means that d) is false. It is Flight 77 that hit the Pentagon.

This makes c) absurd. Why would the planners go ahead and fly 77 into the Pentagon and then fake a different approach?

All of this, then, contradicts a). Whatever witnesses they have managed to cherrypick or manipulate into their statements are contradicted by the evidence.

The Doubletree video shows that LC:FC's "clincher" evidence is false.

The 10 secs only proves there was an explosion and we already knew that.

You can't even see the Pentagon in that clip - the freeway prevents it - but anything flying OVER the Pentagon would be clearly visible.

It is not.

No plane flew over the Pentagon.

Flight 77 crashed into it.

They ran the same clip 3x's in a 21 sec video. You would think at the least DOD wouldn't have cut it off so quick. Guess they didn't want anyone to see that C130 that flew in behind whatever hit the Pentagon.

There was no justification for not releasing this video earlier. By my count there are 81 Pentagon videos left. At this rate we should get them all by about the middle of the century.

can someone in the DC area check this out? also please try to ask any Doubletree employees if a tree was ever there. if this is a fake, it explains the media blackout of this clip. CNN is the only outlet reporting the release and it's coverage is minimal at best.

would you believe if someone was raised from the dead?

You can't believe the witnesses.
You can't believe the radar evidence.
You can't believe the plane being recovered at the site.
You can't believe the passengers of 77 recovered and identified.

If there was an actual video, you would find a reason not to believe it as well.
Somehow, you concieve of this as the government's fault.

Take your sanctimony someplace else.
