1. David Lynch pretty well nails it. "It's too big to think about, nobody really wants |
|
to think about it." (When talking about if 9/11 is an inside job)

9. You manage to accomplish it, though. |

Before breakfast, even.
Listen, to be on topic here, David Lynch certainly respects the filmmaking talent of the Loosers. I do as well. I've never seen LC2, the original LC being quite enough for me. But the clip Lynch viewed was rather impressively made. No doubt of that. And Lynch knows that with this talent, the boys could likely make it into the big show. So why hack off upcoming talent?
Lynch also has some questions. I don't think his statements are just about maintaining a possible working relationship with these guys. But his questions are easily debunked, and his maintainance of them...well, let's say that Lynch doesn't display a lock-solid grasp on reality that even Charlie Sheen has, ok? Such a viewpoint certainly helps in screening his movies. I'm not disputing the man's functionality or his genius. But if Lynch weren't a genius filmmaker, he looks like he would be the uncle at the family reunion who will tell you why God doesn't want us to take medicene.

3. I liked what he had to say |
|
He is asked about "errors" in Loose Change and he says what is important is that it makes you rethink what you "thought" you saw. Of course he's smart and handsome, too...

5. He reacted like any reasonable person, and he knows film. He sure didn't pan it. |
|
In fact it was praise in the sense that he said it make people look again in a new way. This is a pro talking about an indy documentary.
