Poll question: Should we re-open the 9/11 investigation?
Edited on Tue Dec-12-06 01:39 AM by Quixote1818
There was so little money spent on the initial investigation and there are so many big questions left. I think the 9/11 investigation should be re-opened with a budget of at least a $50 million. If we can spend close to 30 million investigating a blow job we most certainly can spend that much investigating one of the biggest tragedies on American soil.

What do you think?

1. Many 9/11 families want it to be re-opened
I also believe that it should be re-opened. Anytime there has been an investigation and it comes to light that there was untruthful testimony given I believe that the matter must be re-examined.

6. re-OPEN? We need to have one period.
It was never really "open" in the first place. The 9-11 Commission was just a forum for all the DC political factions to cover their asses.

did it?
We just can't talk about 911 in any other forums. Most anything else but not this.
I could maybe understand it if these threads were listed in the latest and greatest forums when ever they qualified.

9. Why re-open? The OCTers and OCTabots have it all figured out
The 9/11 Commission explains everything. The Bush administration may be incompetent, but certainly not evil, and its members would never, ever do anything that would lead to such a massive loss of life. Moreover, governments never lie about matters of such importance.

Q.E.D.

10. It would be a good idea
Although I suspect that incompetence will likely be found rather than a grand NWO uber-conspiracy.

12. An independent investigation by experts not politicians.
Bush should have no say in the panel participants and a special prosecutor should be empowered to subpoena any witnesses and any evidence.

My personal opinion is that that we should begin with: Rudy Giuliani, Marsh & McLennan Companies, Naval Reconnaissance Office, Larry Silverstein, Paul Bremer, Fuji Bank, Deutsche Bank, Jerome Hauer. And just follow that trail(blazer)...

Edit: Add Cantor Fitzgerald to the list as well, since they killed 810 of their employees...

14. It will never happen.
Since the Democrats are somewhat complicit in 911 why would they want to expose themselves to potential embarrassment?

Unless you believe that this elaborate plot involving several government agencies was conceived and executed in the short time between Bush's election and 911, it would seem to me that Bill Clinton (and by extension Hillary) would have to answer some tough questions on how they let a government conspiracy to murder Americans happen under their very noses. It would certainly be a poor reflection on the Clinton appointees who ran the DoD, Justice Department and CIA.

And if the 9/11 commission was a white wash designed to hide the truth, wouldn't the fact that it was a bi-partisan commission containing prominent Democrats be reason enough for the present Democratic leadership to reject a real investigation into 9/11?
